Sail, Power, or Paddle

Whether sail or power, jet ski or kayak, NERYC members enjoy convenient access to water recreation from our prime location on the eastern shore of the North East River. Our diverse membership – comprising world-class yacht racers, junior champions, novices, and non-boaters alike – all share a common appreciation for the water and its endless possibilities!

Club cruises

Organized by the Fleet Captain, Club cruises offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore various destinations and charming ports of call on the Chesapeake Bay and beyond. These excursions also serve as fantastic occasions to bond with fellow club members. With a range of destinations accessible to both powerboats and sailboats, many even reachable by car, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Small Boat Sailing

Members may trailer personal boats to the club for use on weekends. The club has a beach ramp capable of launching small boats on dollies. Limited rack storage for small boats is available for a seasonal fee. In addition, NERYC has an O’Day 22 daysailor “Blue Chip,” which is available for adult and older Junior sailors to use provided they meet certain requirements.

Paddling

Looking to explore the waters at a slower pace? NERYC is the perfect launching pad for your kayak or paddleboard adventures. You can set off from our waterfront to immerse yourself in nature and navigate the serene waters and inlets that dot the North East River’s landscape.
